communities thrive when seniors are recognized as leaders and
knowledge-keepers. Intergenerational programs, advisory committees with strong
senior representation, and inclusive messaging change the entire culture of a
community.
This month,
look for ways to spotlight the strengths of older adults. Invite seniors to lead
a program, not just attend one. Challenge ageist comments when you hear them.
Every small shift sends a powerful message: Seniors belong.
