A freedom-of-information request by the Globe and Mail revealed the province had, as of June 1, doled out more than $250,000 in private bid contracts to work on the pro-HST campaign. One contract went to Marc Andrew, one-time aide to former finance minister Colin Hansen.
“What I’m particularly concerned about is that they would have a former aide to the former minister of finance who started all this ... working for the so-called independent panel to report on the HST,” said Vander Zalm. “That puts the whole report in question.”
Internal government guidelines state contracts of more than $25,000 must go through a public bidding process, but this step can be waived if it is believed information relating to the contracts could “compromise government confidentiality” if released publicly.

There is absolutely nothing in this province, that isn't corrupt. The lies, deceit, thieving and cheating to win, has gone on for over ten years now, in the BC Liberal government. Nothing has changed.
ReplyDeleteThere is a two tiered judicial system in BC. One for, thieving politicians, police, Liberal ministers, MLA's drunk driving, police drunk driving. MLA's thieving, they get special prosecutors.
There was in your face obvious corruption, in Campbell's corrupt theft and sale of the BCR. That was held in a corrupt court, presided over by a corrupt judge, who condoned, brain dead witnesses. When it got too hot for Campbell. The trial was stopped short. Then De Jong thieved tax payers money, to pay the two patseis that took the fall for Campbell, and paid their legal fees. Basi/Virk said, they were told, if they kept their mouths shut, they would be looked after and indeed they were. The BC tax payers, paid the BC Liberals, for stealing from us.
The other judicial system is for the everyday BC citizens. WE can not get away, with any of the above. We would be sent to prison, for grand larceny.
BC's media, are a disgrace to their professions. They are the propaganda machine, for the BC Liberals and willingly spread the Liberals lies.
The BC people have many interesting and legal points. However, BC is the most corrupt province in Canada. The BC Liberals, are the most despised and, have the worst, most corrupt, politicians, also ever known in our nation.
Unfortunately, we also got the worst Prime Minister ever, in the History of Canada as well. Harper and Campbell have a very close relationship. Campbell gets rewarded as, High Commissioner to England. Lord knows, how many times Harper has embarrassed Canada. But this one takes the cake.
