The Coffee Shop

"Isn't it strange how you can find metaphors for life almost anywhere?

Take a neighborhood coffee shop.

Everyone arrives carrying something invisible. Worries. Deadlines. Loneliness. Excitement. Hope.

Some stay five minutes. Others linger for hours.

No one asks the coffee bean how it became so rich. It only became something wonderful after enduring pressure, heat, and time.

Life is much the same.

The best conversations happen when we stop watching the clock, look someone in the eye, and simply ask, "How are you today?"

Funny how a two-dollar cup of coffee can leave you feeling like a million bucks.
