Shine on harvest moon

Life is wonderful, full of love, laughter and joy especially at this time of year. But for many, this time of year is a time of darkness and pain. This is the time of the year that those of us who have light in our lives want to reach out and help those who are in pain.

Some people welcome the help while others reject the help. I wondered why and then I realized that in the short run, there are two types of people who live in darkness:

  1. those who are desperate to emerge
  2. and those who are desperate to stay.

Our role is to reach out to those who are desperate to emerge from the darkness. By helping to shine your light for the first type of person you will enable them to move out of the darkness.

It may be hard, but we have to stop worrying about the second type of person and what they may say or think. Shine your little heart out for those who want to emerge into the joy and wonder of life at this time of year. One day those who are desperate to stay will become desperate to emerge and you will be there for them as well.

Did you know?

Staying young is a goal of many of my generation. We work hard at denying that we are old, and many pursue the latest dream, gadget, potion or book that will keep us young.

You don't have to chase the latest and greatest fad because there is a simple secret that I will share with you now that will keep you young. Here it is:

Did you know that for every smile you smile, more than you give will come your way?

That for every "thing" you think of, it moves closer to you?

And that for all the love you give, the younger you'll look, the happier you'll feel, and the bouncier you'll walk?

Always go for more bouncy! Love is all you need.

Let your player out

Think back at the beginning of your career your routine was:
Work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, play.

As you moved along your career path, and you discovered how to do more, be more, and have more your routine became:
Work, play, work, work, play, work, play, work, work, play.

You are now retired or soon will be retired; guess what you don't have to do more, be more, and have more so your routine can be:
Play, play, nap, play, play, play, play, nap, play, play, play.

It is time to let your player out

Money, money money

"Money does not buy happiness", or Money is the root of all evil". Our attitude toward money is important, it shapes our attitude toward life and where we think we fit in society.

Money is a form of exchange, we exchange our money for what we need or want. Have you thought about this idea:

When you spend money, whether a little or a lot, wisely or not, do you celebrate that you're creating opportunities, dancing with life, exchanging energy, supporting economies, feeding families, lessening
poverty consciousness, demonstrating courage, validating life, eradicating fear, inviting magic into your life, and lifting humanity higher into the light?
Well, maybe you should!
