Finding true happiness

It takes a really special person, someone quite extraordinary, to find true happiness in the lap of luxury surrounded by wealth and abundance, friends and laughter, and choices, choices, choices.

And funnily enough, it's usually the exact same kind of person who can be happy without all that, spending time alone, maybe with a book, or some tools, or a dog for the odd distraction.

Sunday, a day of rest and contemplation

We live in a time of fake news, fake posts, fake everything. We scramble to make sense of the information we are receiving on an hourly, daily, and weekly basis.

Happy Saturday

I am having one of those days where I think that everything in my life, right now, is awesome. Everything is in its right place, under grace, and whether or not this makes perfect sense one day it will

And as the day swiftly flies by and we approach tomorrow, I am exceedingly grateful for all that this day has brought me. To this day and those who contributed to who I've become I am grateful.

I hope that your day is this kind of day and that you are becoming the person you want, a person who is now poised to live as you have always dreamed you would one day live.

Great vs Scary

As we approach decisions or actions that may look scary, we need to understand that through the prism of time and space the scary stuff always looks scarier than it really is. When we look back at what did or decided, we see that it was not really that scary. What we were frightened of, in many cases was doing something that was outside of our comfort zone.

Once we find that going outside of our comfort zone we find that there are many more opportunities waiting for us. We find that the great stuff waiting for us is always greater than we could imagine and it is frequently on sale, comes in more flavours and goes with pretty much everything. Life is strange and good.
