Live in the present

The best remedy for dealing with a troubling past and an uncertain future is living in the present.

Today is Monday morning. I know there aren't too many people who are excited about Monday mornings.

It means back to work.

It means the weekend is over.

And what's worse, Monday morning means it will be another five days until the next weekend!

The thoughts about how bad Monday can keep coming and you may not want to face the day.

If you're in agreement, stop and realize all of that you’re falling into the trap of assuming that waking up today was a given. Surprise, it is not.

Your unspoken thought goes something like: "Of course I woke up today - I've woken up every other day of my life."

This sort of entitlement assumption is a hallmark of a mindset that says we are going to survive the day. Many don’t. Life is unfair, so maybe when waking up on a Monday morning or any morning, you could be thinking, I made it through the night, and I may have another day. It really helps to realize that today wasn't owed to you or to me.

It sounds crazy, but try it - it's much harder to waste my day away when I think of it as something gifted to me by life.

Powerful words

Two of the most powerful words in the English language for bringing about change,  are "thank you."

Especially when offered before the change even occurs and everything still looks pretty much like it did yesterday.

You'll have to think of something to say afterwards on your own.

Birds are singing

Some claim not to know, and not to see...

But that there are…

Birds who sing at every hour of the day for no other reason than to be heard…

Creatures of the deep who flip and twirl just for the fun of it…

Furry friends who love just as dearly as they are loved, and…

Flowers so exquisite, pleasing human eyes could be their only explanation…

This must surely prove that we are living in the most magical fairy tale ever imagined.

Grand and glorius dreams

We all have grand and glorious dreams, or did when we were young. For some of us, our dreams came true, for others, our dreams have not come true yet. For those who have dreams that are not yet manifested and not yet true, consider these two approaches to your dreams.

1.   When your dreams, thoughts and visualizations focus on how they will come true, or when your thoughts stay on unimportant details (virtually all details are unimportant; we need to consider them, yes, but we do not have to attach to them), or when they require specific people to behave in specific ways… (remember we can only control ourselves; we cannot control others) best-case scenario, your dream might come true.

2.   Whereas, when your dreams, thoughts and visualizations are of BIG-picture items, like rocking abundance, amazing health, vivacious happiness, and the like, the floodgates of success begin to powerfully tremble, and your dreams, thoughts and visualizations becomes inevitable.
