You grow old because you stop laughing.
- Michael Pritchard
We need the ability to laugh at ourselves and to maintain a positive attitude toward life. We have too many serious issues facing us on a daily basis that can threaten to overwhelm us. Positive attitude and a sense of humour can allow us to maintain some semblance of sanity in an otherwise crazy world. There are plenty of opportunities to find humour in today's digital age, most of the social media have channels that provide viewers with the opportunity to find the type of humour they like. There are listservs and friends who send us jokes and funny videos almost on a daily basis.
I AM A SONIC BOOMER, NOT A SENIOR... In this blog, I am writing to and for those who believe that the Boomers will change what the word Senior means. I also believe that Boomers will change what retirement means in our society. The blog is also for those who are interested in what life after retirement may look like for them. In this blog, I highlight and write about issues that I believe to be important both for Seniors and working Boomers.
